Does anyone have any experience with Tar River tillers? Looking to buy one from a local dealer, price is decent but cannot find any comments or reviews of Tar River equipment. The company is in North Carolina but can't seem to find any info on manufacturer, USA made versus foreign parts assembled in USA? Thanks.

It does have the torque tub all the way across (good thing) and looking at the online parts manual seems OK. Probably made in china - "Increasing agricultural productivity since 1974Belco Resources Equipment"
I have an Ansung YJR074 gear driven (Korean Made) and comparing their 74" is it about 200 lbs lighter. With tillers, Weight is your friend. My Ansung is a tank with oil bath bearings on both sides I have no issue running it with my CT235 - twin to your CK35.
Have you checked your agg rental places - I got mine, barely used, for a great price. They are a Kobota dealer, but use the Ansung Terraforce brand tiller in their rental fleet - should tell you something about the durability. Several of the venders here carry's the Ansung brand, so do some shopping. Pricing is similar I think

Never heard of them. What width and price? I paid $1500 for my 48" Taylor Pittsburgh: Taylor Pittsburgh
It is a 66 inch for $1700. I have a Kioti CK3510 and the 66 tills out the rear tires. Didn't really want to go wit a 72" because i have a lot of hard clay with rocks. Looks been like it's built as well as anything I've looked at. Dealer says its made in Italy which i see as an ok thing. Sicma is made in Italy.
