I wondering if anyone else who when they dont need the loader they take it off. Mines off half the time or the bucket. the reason is it takes up to much space in the garage, so i take it off in the shed. I hate leaving the tractor out in the shed because its to far away.So It doesnt hurt loader to take it off so much does it?

Plower, we sure hope it doesn't hurt anything, don't we, since my loader's off at least half the time and maybe more./w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif I sure don't know of anything it could hurt; thought that was the reason they make quick attach loaders.

PLOWER,
You might want to take a plastic bags and rubber bands to seal the ends of your hydraulic disconnects at both ends for protection from the dirt etc..,also check your hydraulic fluid after reconnecting.

You mean John Deere doesn't have the little rubber plugs and caps attached for that purpose, like Kubota has?/w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif Of course, it's a good idea to keep the couplers clean and/or wipe them off good before re-connecting.

Yes, there are caps for the female ends of the couplers and for the hoses. Color coded too./w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

My caps were not color coded, co I got a bag of colored zip ties, and put a different color on each one, so now I know red goes to red, green to green, etc.

Take it off as much as you like. That's why they make em QD. I keep mine off half the time for same reasons as you. The bags are good idea. Although I have the rubber end plugs I have found that the weather will make the quick release sleeve and balls to corrode and tough too work. When I take it off I just give em shot of WD40 , bag em , and point to the sky.
