Re: Tachometer Displays Lower RPM\'s When Lights On

Hey Chris,
I seem to always be trying to squeeze out the last of the Sun Light on my little projects, and the lights come in pretty handy after the Sun Goes Down. I was box blading and needed all the power that the little engine had. I looked down at the tack and it was only in the 1600 range. I was trying to get more RPM's, but the pedal was on the Floor. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Yes, Chris, my 224 is a little tractor, but for my size place it is doing a good job, but I push it to the max quiet often.
Although if I had had the extra 1k for the 254, I would have done it, but on the other hand, if I had, then I would have been disappointed that I missed out on the Kama 354C that was being sold for 6K.
I've got about 120 hours on the little 224 now, and if it keeps running, I will probably have about 200 hours on it before next year.
I need to get a rear 3ph scoop, but have been wondering what size would be best for the 224.
Have a nice day,
Joe /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
