My KAMA254 has a tach that quit. Ideas?
Cluster gauge or separate tach?lakespirit said:My KAMA254 has a tach that quit. Ideas?
That makes it more difficut (and more expensive). Before replacing an entire cluster just because of an inop tach, check out the sending unit wire. Haven't worked specifically on a TS254, but typically the sending units are mounted in a hole in the bellhousing and are triggered by the ring gear teeth on the flywheel. It's typically no bigger round than a quarter, and sticks out perhaps an inch. It should have a single post, to which the sending unit ground wire is attached.lakespirit said:cluster (They are all in the same housing)?
