Tach drive location on a 2005 Shibaura.

This seems very simple. However I I cannot locate the tach drive location on my 2005 Newholland TZ25DA Boomer tractor. I just changed the oil and noticed the cable hanging. Its not easy to see the drive location with the loader on. Any help is appreciated.

Welcome, I can't help you here as I no longer own my Case IH branded version of that same tractor. But they are nice units.

It must be in the upper right front corner of the timing gear cover. I don't see the drive unit itself listed in the parts book, but item 9 in this diagram is described as gear, tachometer shaft. The drive can't be far away.

For anyone else with this issue, the top cable is the tach/ hour meter drive the bottom cable is the throttle. Both seen in the top photo.
The close up second photo is where the tach cable screws in the back of the injector pump. There was no way to see this location with the side engine guard on. I also had to take the loader off to reattach the cable.
I hope this helps someone. I could not find this information anywhere online. My cable popped off during an oil change.
