It wasn't confidence inspiring to see the loose bolt. He was asking $31,000 for the 4820 with the shuttle shift, BTW. It was a disappointing trip because I hoped to see more TYM models.
Do you mind saying what part of the country?

rural Middle Tennessee, but the guy was a smaller Branson dealer to start with unlike some of the other larger TYM dealers that have been TYM dealers the whole time. Besides wanting to look at the TYM units, I wanted to get a feel for what dealer service is available near me.

Are you far from Nashville? LSE seems to have lots of inventory. Always dealing online, but no idea how they are in person.

They aren't far away. They gave me written quotes over the phone and via email very efficiently. I haven't been to their dealership in person to be able say anything about their shop.

The official heat index in Mid. TN is 99F and climbing. I can see not wanting a cab when working in the woods, but an air conditioned cab to work in the fields would be really nice for the rest of July and August.

Hahaha...its 98 degrees temp here now and climbing to probably 102 or so. 'Real feel' is 110. I'm sure there will be days when I wish I had a cab, but 15 of my 18 acres are heavily wooded. Fortunately, I can choose when to work as I am retired and don't need to live off of my 'farm' income.
