Had the same problem on '08 s330. Just replaced radiator a few months ago before trading machine.

It's common for the bobcat radiators to leak or get damaged from what I have been told. Three of my machines over the last 6 years had radiator leaks. I know I damaged the fins removing the condenser and oil cooler but the other two leaked at the seam that you described.

Changing in the field can be a chore if you have high flow and installation can damage the new one. Kind of a PITA.

it must be a common weak point for bobcat

They were suppose to have a fix this June. Maybe they do. The one I installed in Feb hasn't leaked yet. Its the first one that didn't leak at the sides.

Guys, if you have radiator/cooling problems on a T320 you should really read the 2 threads showing my mods. My dealer even loves it. Clean the radiator every 3-5 days in 95 deg weather. Cooler is on hinges so you don't damage the radiator when removing the cooler.

I plan on replacing the radiator tomorow.Got the hyd. wrench,new radiator,shop manual,coolant,etc...
When you remove the hyd. cooler did you plug the inlet/outlet with a plastic plug or clean paper towel?
I use the blue shop towels from wallyworld for alot of stuff.
Antifreeze:I have Sierra PG coolant. It's green but still Propylene glycol.
What do you use?

I use plastic plugs/caps for the hydraulic lines. You don't want to get anything in there. Be sure to use bobcat PG coolant if you are still under warranty.

While you've got it apart, add a longer hoses on your coolant overflow tank. You'll have to do some re-routing but it will allow you to move it out of the way and make it easier to clean the radiator when needed. Bobcat has a kit to do this but all you need is some heater hose.

The guys at bc said we just stick a clean rag in the hole.Kinda scary.hmmm.
I've always been the clean maintenance type person.Within reason.
The warranty is long gone.
Thanks for the info on adding a new longer heater hose for the resevoir.
Most auto parts store have some plastic male/female caps laying around.

Completed the new radiator install. It all went smooth.I decided to take my time since I was doing it alone ,3.5 hrs.
Pictures would have been boring so none of that. Afterwards ran everything and no leaks.
One more thing, I did not have to disconnect the a/c condensor. It hangs on the side .If you have a service manual it shows that.
Thanks fishfactor for the hyd. hose tool link it went perfect!
