Dirt Moving Switching Hydraulic Pump for speed

I have a JD 2305 and the hydraulics are a bit sluggish. Can I replace the pump or increase the flow to get more speed?

simple answer is yes IF the rest of your system will handle the increased flow rate. I.e. are the lines and valves large enough..
