I was considering swapping my tires to get a wider stance but after looking at it with the 72" MMM, I think the tires will hit the wheels on the deck. Has anyone tried this yet?

Measure the width between the gauge wheels. The owners manual should tell you the overall width of the tractor with the wheels set to wide position. You'd probably need a couple inches on each side for the MMM to flex though on uneven ground.

Did you consider adding wheel spacers rather than different tires to achieve wider width? That is what I did on my 3720 cab tractor with 72" MMM to improve stability.

I have the 3320 72" mower setup. Swaped mine around with no problems. Mower doesn't hit tires at all.

I'm not sure spacers would be any different then swapping the tires. Unless, the spacers are a bit less then the tire swap.

Is there any issues with driving over it to take off or put on the MMM?

I don't think the op means different tires. I think he means switching them from side to side. Therefore, spacers wouldn't help.

Don't swap the front, only the rear tires. Making the rear wider will gain you the most (or all) the difference in stability.

Just a follow up. I tried swapping my front tires and it is to tight to drive. You can not turn without them hitting the deck.

So, no need for anyone else to try! Swapping the back has helped a lot!
