Kubota 2620
May have been asked before but I was wondering if anyone has put a suspension seat on their B2620? If so what brand/model. When I mow the grass the OEM Kubota seat with springs under it beats the crap out of me. Hoping someone has changed one out. Thanks

I too would be. EEG interesting with anyone's experiences with putting a Michigan seat or any other suspension on a B.

Thanks.

My 2620 would beat my backsides blue. My current 3350 is a lot more gentle in that respect. You might want to see what the cost is for one of those seats. It is adjustable for ride stiffness as well as leans back and has arm rests. No matter what seat you swap for you may have to deal with the driver sensing interlock switch.

I haven't had much time on my B2601 yet but so far the seat seems fine. You might want to compare the 2601 seat to yours and see if they are the same. I weigh 170 pounds, if that makes any difference.

The seat on my M59 is pretty comfortable - particularly when I compare it with my old compacts which were basically covered foam over a steel form. But they all pale in comparison with the full size TLB JD310 which has an sprung seat with very thick foam and suspended on an air ride mechanism. It also has an optional control called "comfort ride" which isolates the movement of the bucket from the tractor frame. Would be nice to see both of these as options on Kubota in spite of the extra price. But shucks, might as well wish for a conveniet water-proof tool box while we're at it.
The good news is there is lots of room for impovement.
If you do find a better seat I'd be interested too.
luck, rScotty

The new seat that I got for my B3030 on the recall program back in 2006 or 2007 is very nice. I paid $27.00 for the upgrade. Kubota was very generous with that program. The original seats were sloped so that the only way to stay on was to use the seatbelt. The B3030 was the deluxe model B back in 2005 so I guess a nice spring suspension seat was part of the package. It is just one of the reasons that I love my B3030. I have never regretted spending the extra money for the deluxe model. It is one of the best things I have ever purchased in my entire life.
