Sunburn

Well, went to the beach Sunday and it was cloudy and windy. Stayed under the umbrella until I took a walk. You guessed it, sunburn. So I put sun blocker on yesterday, had my wife smear it on my face. Then I sat in my little beach chair, closed my eyes, and relaxed. You have probably realized where this is going. I have sunburned my eyelids! Hurts like the dickens ever time I blink.

Having had way to many sunburns the best remedy, besides time, has been gels made from Aloe.

I even wear sun glasses, shirt and a floppy hat when in the water. :laughing: Better yet I try to stay out of the sun as much as possible.

Here in ever-cloudy Ohio we really look forward to getting out on a nice sunny day. Just gotta make sure to put the sun block on my bald head and wear the shades. Never could get used to wearing a hat all the time. Will usually wear one while mowing though.

Gotta agree with the aloe suggestion, stuff always worked for me.
