I don't have that model. I have a 110v (small garden next to outlet) electric cultivator with stamped steel tines. I also have some potato sized rocks in the garden. Last week, a rock wedged itself between the tines and the gear casing. It bent one set of tines which I was able to straighten.

At first, I thought it was pretty amazing at tilling up an established small garden spot. Very lightweight. No noise. No pull cord.

But....the digging depth and width is limited compared to my Troy Bilt Pony gas tiller. Based on my own experience, I'd rate my electric tiller as an improvement over using a garden hoe in loose dirt, but because it is so lightweight, I really have to be super careful not to get too close to plants because it can easily bounce into them.
