Summit 3rd function kit

I ordered my 3rd function kit with 1/2 " fittings but my tractor is 3/8. Should I return and get the right size or find adapters.

I called and asked Summit Hydraulics about getting different couplers that what was in the kit when I ordered there rear remote
kit and they said no. So I had to order adaptors also.
