Welcome to TBN!!
Thanks for including your local too, that makes the world smaller, helps folks in the same area find each other and can actually have some impact on some Q&A too.

This question doesnt really involve a tractor but summer is coming and my 19yr old daughter is wanting to have a blowout birthday party. Some of her friends have suggested having alot of activities including a dunk tank. Anyone here or their kids ever participate in a dunk tank? She seems excited about it but we have not totally decided. Opinions?

I don't have a clue, but you really should ask the question in one of the other forums. There are enough people on here that there is a pretty good chance that somebody knows about it.

Try Rural Living or Related Topics. Doesn't really matter which one.

Back when I was mayor of our small town, I was asked to participate as a the one getting dunked. It was fun, albeit tiring after the 30th time getting dunked!

Not sure where they got the dunk tank, rental??....just make sure there is no sharp edges, plenty of water in the tank and screening to keep from getting smacked by the ball. Harmless fun!!

Welcome...

Dunk tank sounds like fun. You could use it as a fund raiser for your local charity of choice and maybe offset the cost of rental. I would secretly start practicing throwing the ball now!

Have fun.

Welcome to the forum; can't beat country living; don't know anything about dunking tank, but my kids use to throw their kids into our ponds.

Our township has a dunk tank that they will rent for a fee...not surprising since we have a yearly $2,000,000+ "parks & recreation" budget...
BTW, that is for a township of just over 13,000...

To the OP, welcome to TBN!!!

Thanks for all the replies. My daughter is trying to figure out what to wear in the tank. I think she will make it mandatory for the girls to be fully clothed when they go in...just to make it interesting :)
