Sorry I forgot to follow up with this issue. I finally found that the main power wire going to the ignition switch was very coroded and barely still staying in the plug. I jumpered it and that solved the intermitant start issue. Now the darn glow plug dash light goes on and off randomly while operating so trying to figure out how to bypass with a momentary switch. Anwhow just wanted to follow up, thanks to all who offered advice.
