That would depend on how heavy your hydraulic cylinder is.

I might move machines as many as 4 times a day, the speed with a tilt is extremely fast. On rare occasion with more implements I can manage, but since I don't usually move many implements except the one on the tractor, its not a big worry and I haven't not been able to get what I want on it yet. It also works great because it doesn't have to be hooked to the truck to load and unload, unlike a ramp trailer that must be connected. I thought it wouldn't matter to me but after having tilt I found myself unloading without the tow vehcile a lot................just some thins to think about

Hey Johnno;
What size tractor are you loading this way? I"ve only used a manual light duty tilt trailer. What keeps the front end from moving when you drive up on it?

After buying my "little" CK20 and having the dealer deliver it with a couple of impliments, I went shopping for a trailer. Spent almost two weeks looking at everything, keeping in mind that I'd be hauling 2,200 lbs plus the weight of trailer with a 1/2 ton RAM. So I bought a 14' box frame removable ramp trailer, 2 axle brakes, nice trailer, the downside?........... the ramps store underneth from the back and are only 4 foot long! Angle of approach is pretty steep! I drag my box scrapper when loading the tractor! and I haven't even tried it with the rotary yet! So you need to check the length of the ramps (Dummy me!) if they're removable.
