Besides a Husqvarna Riding Mower, none at the moment but in the market for a sub-compact
Greetings,

New to the forums and in the market for a sub-compact. I have a question about swapping rear implements. I was under the impression that going from backhoe to a 3-point implement was a fairly "easy" swap. Is this really the case or is it a much more involved swap? The backhoe, while a nice add-on is a little further down the chain that others. I talked to a dealer the other day and he was talking about sub frame connectors and I think I read somewhere about removing wheels. It seems like a better deal to get MT125 with the backhoe already installed, but if I get it without and choose to get the backhoe later, is it really a much more involved process to set everything up. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, it is easier to get the BH when you get the tractor, ussually the better deal price wise. The BH on the 125 comes off in under 5 minutes, about the same putting back on after you've done it a few times. The subframe on the MT125 is really heavy duty, 1/2" thick steel, goes from the rear up to the loader mounts. Heaviest I've seen on a SCUT. MY only regret was not getting the MMM when I got the package, would have only been $1k more, after the sale about a month later would have cost me $2200. Ended up going with a rear finish mower instead.
