Stupid question

I notice over on the left hand side of the page under everyones name is their current member status. ie New Member, Member, Bronze Member etc. I have 25 posts under my belt but I am still coming up as a visitor. Is there something that I need to do beyond registering to become a "member"? Thanks for your help y'all.
