Stump Grinder Hook-Ups

I know this is a little out of date but I hope someone can help. I also have a single connect in back and a frontend loader. My stump grinder has two cylinders up down left right and it is PTO powered. My question is I am a novice and have no idea where I might locate the valve/splitter and there are two hoses for each cylinder will this valve accommodate all four hose connections? Thanks

I have a valve that I purchased with my stump grinder -- never used it. If you are interested, let me know and I'll send info to you, including instructions.

My deere dealer ended up not using this when I added remotes. It has never been used. Includes a mounting bracket.

I have with the help of this forum solved almost all the problems with hooking up my stump grinder valve coming tomorrow I have the hoses needed to hook up but I was looking over the grinder today and I have a question about the hoses the up down cylinder has two hoses plain but the left right cylinder has the two hoses with some sort of pressure relief valve crossing between the two hoses one why? and is this required for correct operation?

What does the manual say?

Apparently someone thought they needed a relief valve for some reason, if it is a relief valve.

Is it required, maybe not . You will have to operate it for a while and see if it is needed.

It will not function until enough force in generated in the side to side movement of the swing.

Yes I will send tomorrow so far there has been no mention of the relief valve I will look again. I received the valve today and plan to begin the install soon.

I hope the pictures help. I read the instructions for the valve and it requires a return to line sump from the outlet port not sure if this is needed or not I did review my tractor hydraulic lines and found a return from the power steering to the hydraulic sump maybe I could tap into this line and install a one way valve. I don't have much experience in hydraulics so I hope you can suggest something.

As long as the fluid gets back to the reservoir.

Any return line would work.

Do you have a remote valve OUT port.

Could use the hyd fill cap.
