Stump Grinder Bearing

I was given a free stump grinder but it doesn’t have any markings on it and no manual.

Its front bearing retainer is broken and that allows the shaft to move to far forward and then the shaft comes out of the rear bearing retainer.

The broken bearing retainer has FU210 in raised letters, would that marking tell me what bearing/retainer to buy?

I wonder if anyone makes one with a steel bearing retainer?

Or if I can just buy the retainer rather than the whole assembly as my bearing still rotates smoothly.

Honestly you are going to have to take everything apart, new bearing or not. I would replace the bearing. I'd be tempted to replace the rear bearing also. Make sure the shaft isn't worn where the bearing rides otherwise they will tend to come loose by themselves. This is not an application for cheap bearings.
