Tires Studded tractor tires ?

Anyone ever tried studded tractor tires? Or, placing (hex head) screws in the tread?

HI,
Never done it,but dont see why you couldnt.We stud atv tires up here for ice fishing in the winter.Wouldnt they be similar to an ag tire?I dont know if regular screws would hold up,but id think regular car type studs would work.Why not chains?

My tractor probably would require wheel spacers along with chains. Cost would be ~ $800 for both.
