You got that right,something that has been in use since before the 20's is I'm sure outlawed by OSHA...

I don't think OSHA has any jurisdiction on your own property unless you are hiring employees to work on your property in which case I don't really won't anyone doing anything on my property that could result in an injury. Heck with OSHA, the personal injury lawyers would leave you pretty much monetary free.
