Stuck Clutch

I had the clutch stick on my tc40 a few months ago. I had just used it a few weeks prior and it's in a covered shed. I was able to work it free. The clutch disc stuck to the PP or flywheel.

Meanwhile I had a gnarly 1957 ford 851 that never saw cover, had enough water in the trans to lock the thing up solid in winter but never stuck the clutch..maybe it was the copious amount of oil leaking from the rear main seal.

No, it just depends on what material the clutch plate was made from.

Some stick easily, some never stick.
