I have a cellulose insulation blower that I use with the same product that landscapers use for hydroseed - only I blow it dry thru the blower and then with a rigged up 1/2 circle pop up sprinkler head attached to the nozzel, I add water to wet it before it hits the ground to make it stick. You have to seed the lawn first and fertilize, which makes for more trips across the area but this process makes the lawn look professionally done and the colored cellulose holds water for quick germination. I even used uncolored celloluse insulation with the same results except it doesn't look as nice. You can rent a blower from lumber yards or Home Depot or Lowes.
