Strange egg

My young Mille Fleur hen laid a strange egg today. She has been laying steadily for the last month with eggs about half the size of a normal egg but this egg is very much smaller and I have never seen one like this. Have you?

Odd. I've had them lay soft eggs before but nothing like that. It seems like there wasn't enough egg to fill the shell.

Had one of my hens lay an egg the size of a quail egg yesterday. Shes not a young hen either. Sometimes they just lay freaky eggs.

We get about 15,000 eggs a day. Sometimes there are some odd ones. Those go in the cull box.

we get weirdo eggs occasionally ... no shell, odd shapes - still fine, but not for sale

I KNOW I'm a strange egg. Better than being dead. Besides - we can all call it - an unusual personality.
