Strainer bolt on B7800

Started doing the 50 hour service for my new toy. More difficult than it should be. Probably because the frame mount for my backhps makes it hard to access filter and strainer.


Got through most of it, then found I didn't have the right socket to fit the strainer bolt. Its am little larger than 1". It is metric.

Going to hardware store in morning. Does anyone here know the actual size of this bolt? It will save me from buying more than 1 socket.

26MM on my B7610. Might be the same size. Only place I found it was Lowes. I looked at Wal-Mart, Sears and Home Depot for thie socket.

Thats what this site is all about. Help people if you can. I found the same thing when I went to buy the right socket, nobody has it here except carquest. After I wasted my money on 1 1/16 and 1 1/8" socket, because nobody had it I called around till I found the only one around in our area.
