I was thinking about that tonight. So much of how we learned to talk when I grew up is now considered not PC. What, old people are supposed to go in for some kind of re-education? How to talk and worse, think? I wouldn't take the sheit from teachers now that I did then, let me tell ya.

Other cultures don't interest me. I have lived here my whole life, and don't feel any need to change my beliefs because someone else decided to come HERE. They certainly wouldn't accomodate my beliefs, THERE! Should at least be tit for tat!

I don’t know if you know or care, but “Jap” is considered the Japanese equivalent of the n-word.

I learned that back in the 80s while dating a young Japanese woman. I had always thought it was just short for Japanese.
