Stone Rake

Hello everyone, Any of you Ventrac guys have a front mounted stone rake from Ventrac? I have a county line for the rear 3pt. that i modified with a hyd cylinder to angle it. It works ok but i think the front mounted with the wheels would be a lot easier to control with out getting wash board effects.Like to here your thoughts on this subject and maybe some prices of the front mount for a 4500 series.Thanks Dunebuggy55.

I have a Steiner Terra Rake that was the forerunner to the current Ventrac rake. It works great for driveways and the adjustable front wheels prevent a washboarding effect. The wheels can be positioned either in front or just behind the tines. I suggest you check with both Steiner and Ventrac dealers for used units. I have seen both on eBay.

the steiner rake is better than the ventrac unit..my dealer gave me a great trade in on my terra rake,as he had buyers lined up for it...
