I am in northeast jones county. You're right about my place. Hilly as can be. There are some smooth fields in the area though.

I live near the center of this topo map near the Maquoketa river. Very hilly! You can see the farther out you go it levels off.

I've been along I35 through the whole state of Texas so I think I know what you mean. Didn't mean to send your humerous post on a 180 but ya never know what happens on the internet right /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif.

so if you're near the river - you're not far from Monticello .... and if you take 151 west toward Cedar Rapids you pass through (well ... used to) now you pass by a little town of Springville ......where I grew up. So I know the topo there -- /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif.......

Wow! It's a small world. I never would have expected anyone to know the area. You've got it. Yeah, they bypass Springville now.

They bypass Monticello, Cascade, Anamosa, pretty much Everything between Cedar Rapids and Dubuque now. You can get anywhere real quick now.
