sticky neutural switch

Hello, Merry Christmas To All
I am having an issue with my DK45sehst on startup usually first thing in the morning. The tractor won't start in neutural,, I can then move the range selector around and then back into the other neutural and it may start.
Or I may have to move the selector around and then back into the original neutural for it to start . I know that it is the neutural selector switch which is the problem. Has anyone else seen this. Is this a normally open switch that I can just put a jumper on the wires untill I can get it in for a service.

Same on my DK45se,,,,, starts in the one neutral only,,,,dont ask which one I havent paid that much attention to the little quirk,,,,, Still having fun playing with this powerful workhorse,,, I will get into the quirks in the spring whens it a little warmer,,,,or time for the 50 hour maitenance which ever comes first,,,and I am thinking the 50 hr service might be coming soon,,,only have 14 hrs on the beast right now.

I haven't had exactly this problem but did notice that my neutral light sometimes stays on even when I move the shifter out of neutral. See photo. I wonder if there is an issue with the design, manufacture or installation of the neutral switch that leads to some of these issues. I haven't seen the neutral light remain on for some time now but it definitely did it intermittently for the first month or so that I owned the tractor.

It may have just been serendipity but during that first month I had my tractor I occasionally had trouble restarting it. I recall it did turn over it just wouldn't start sometimes even after it was warm and had been running fine. After trying a few times it would start perfectly normally again. That went on for a few weeks but self resolved and now it works fine with no diagnosis or repair.

I am heading up to the cabin for the long weekend,,,gonna cut some more fire wood if the weather permits,,,,I will check out the neutral switch on my tractor....I like to let things work themselves out first,,,sometimes things just need to be used, aka broke in,,, before they work smooooooooothly.. Oh and happy New Year
