I did get rid of it and got another tractor. It is funny the Kioti lovers on this forum think the pedal needs greases. It was definitely not a lack of lubrication in my situation. Bobcat was very concerned when they saw the video of my hydro pedal sticking in reverse for over a minute! The replacement hydro through Bobcat only has a 6 month warranty. For the dealer to replace it you are looking at a little of $4,000. I wonder why Bobcat quit selling tractors:scratchchin:
So you were 'halfbottle'? Now you're someone else.
The pedal might not have needed lubrication, (grease) in your particular case, but often that IS the problem, and resolution.
Bobcat sold their branded version of the Kioti line, supplied by Daedong of S. Korea, (Kioti's parent Company) for 5 years. They chose to stick to their existing line of equipment, of their own accord, or in conjunction with Daedong- the specific details of which I don't know.
Kioti is a strong company that stands behind their product. Do they encounter issues with their tractors? Sure. ALL brands do. What matters is how any company deals with their customers.
