Steiner 220
Hi!

I'm writing for the first time in this forum.

I describe my concern:
I bought Steiner 220, the engine was dead.
In Estonia, where I live, unfortunately, Steiner is not a common machine and no technical assistance.

I bought a new used Kubota D600 engine, which was used earlier on a rice harvester.
The RPM and fuel in this new engine are likely to be smaller.

How much should the engine rpm be when I measure them on a flywheel. I mean rpm when the speed lever is max.

I want to adjust the speed lever so that when switching to the maximum, the engine does not break.

Sorry for my poor English. I speak Estonian every day.

Greeting
Sander

You did not say what the original engine was, but appears all engine options are rated at 3600rpm @ wide open throttle.

The D600 will have no problem although you may have to adjust the throttle stop if the original application used a lower RPM.

Hi,

I set the engine max 3000 rpm, no more daring because the sounds were already very loud. I hope 3000 rpm is enough and not breaking the engine.

The D600 is designed to run up to 3600rpm all day long and was set to 3600 when used in the Steiner 220.
