Steering wheel slipping

Driving down hard serface road on T70 New Holland w/front end loader.
The New Holland imblem on the steering wheel was upside down. After a few miles driving stright no turning..the emblem was right side up. Wondering is this an easy fix?

There is nothing wrong with your steering as there is no mechanical link between the steering wheel and the front tires. Your tractor's steering system is hydrostatic. The NH wheel emblem will "float" around forever.
It scared me too when I first noticed the same thing happening to my TC-40 a few years ago. No adjustment needed-it's working fine. :welcome:

Thats why we dont put any logos in the steering wheels at work... When theres just a round cap, nobody notices and nobody gets scared by it

I drove the T70 home several times and never noticed it . My wife drove it home and it spooked her. Hence the question. Thank You all for your replys.

You coulda played this one up real good.....LOL.

Still can if you haven't told her it's normal..........just watch out for flying cast iron skillets, if she finds out:laughing::shocked:
