The steering cylinder attached to the left tie rod on my 1025 is leaking. Should be covered under warranty; I'd think. Got a note to call JD service on Monday. Been leaving small hydraulic fluid puddles underneath the cylinder when I park it.

Wonder if anyone else has had this problem on 1023 or 1025?

Not on those models, however. I did have what the tech said was an "interior" leak on my old 4320s steering ram. They replaced (under warranty) the cylinder and all was well.

Good luck

Wasn't the steering cylinder. One or two of the heater hoses was leaking a tad of antifreeze. Hadn't used up all the fluid in the overflow reservoir yet. He just tightened the clamps. Factory hadn't tightened them property.

It's propylene glycol. Doesn't seem to have any smell like ethylene glycol has. Figured it was hydraulic fluid, as it was dripping off the right end of the hydraulic cylinder on the steering.
