I didn't see a spotter anywhere, so he must have a camera mounted somewhere, watching to be sure all is well at the rear, never the less is good maneuvering ,

That tire wasn't "half flat", it was artistically low on air. :laughing:

It's also possible that it it "mechanical" steering. If you are familiar with 5th wheel extendable hitches, they move the pin location back from the cab on short bed trucks as the trailer deviates from the straight ahead position. A similar mechanical steering could be devised for the rear bogie.

Halfway this video you see the original concept of steerable log trailer: it didnt take skill at that time, just muscles !!

(And yes the VW Beetle undercarriage resembles these pre-war trucks. In 1961 VW payd a huge sum of money for violating the patents)

The long logging bob sleds here used with horses in the 1800's/1900's were rear steer too. Diagonal chains made the rear steer opposite of the front bunk.
