Should the trailer be level when loaded? Tilted up slightly in the front? Or tilted down slightly in the front? I've been aiming for level to slightly up in the front.

The trailer's a 20' full tilt PJ TH20.

It should be pretty close to level to load the axels as equal as possible.

I prefer level.

I think the correct attitude for any trailer is:

"...I'm ready to go, just load me up...!"

(Sorry, it's snowing out and I'm bored!)

Level.

If it's pointed up or down, when you slam on the brakes it will push the back end up or down depending on the level of the trailer. That will mess with you steering & brakes. It's not like it will crash you if it's an inch off. But it will make things more squirrelly, especially when you are already panic breaking.
