I pulled the pix off my new stealth cam today. Attached is a series that shows it going from color/daylight mode to dusk and dark B/W mode. It is IR...I am pretty happy with the range and quality of the pix. It was $129.00 now if it just lasts a few years...

Great pictures!!!!

I'm a big fan of Stealth Cam and highly recommend them. I don't have the IR feature, but have found that the animals just ignore the flash anyway.

Keep us updated with your pictures, it will be fun to see what you have on your land.

You have some chubby looking deer there, Ridgewalker. They look well fed. You can see the ribs on the deer around here. We sure do need some rain.

Nice pics. For $129 that looks like pretty good quality.

I'm impressed! . . . and jealous. I wish my Moultrie Outfitter Cam had picture quality that good. I have to be careful how I say that, because my Moultrie/Cabella's camera was a gift from my wife and I don't dare let her think I don't like it. I did hint that I'd like to get more photos from different angles and might get another "inexpensive" game camera. Guess which one I'm thinking about?:D

Here's two more I thought were neat...we had a good snow on and you can see the corn pretty well, if you click fast from one pix to the other you can see the progress the deer made in 5 minutes.

Nice pictures!

I would rather see pictures of deer, turkeys and other wildlife than to look at a nasty bunch of hogs.

Have you ever made a feeder out of pipe?

Something that i plant around my feeders is turnips... The deer really love them.

Thanks for sharing!

I'd pretty much rather see anything but hogs. Wish we could get rid of all ferel hogs. Until then those cameras sure help document the hogs time of activity.

The hogs do a good enough job documenting the rest of it.

What brand of camera was it?

We have a tube feeder we made using PVC, we were going thru a bag of corn a week with it, with the new feeder I can get about a month out of that same bag of feed. I planted turnups year before last in a poor spot, they did OK but I really need to add some lime.

TWO BIT, the brand name is Stealth Cam...

I have been working on pipe feeders for the last year. My first design worked
but the coons had field day with it, caught them with the deer cam. It was just hung on a tree and allowed the coon easy access to the corn.

Design II is hung from a limb away from the tree trunk and works OK but the coons could still reach it so I moved it higher.

Design III is after reading about feeder design to keep the corn and other feed dry and help keep the coons at bay.

One guy found a way to keep the coons busy though. Watch in full screen and turn up the sound.

Nice feeders!

I have 5 in different places.

The way i did mine was put a Y at the bottom and a screen in the bottom of the Y to allow water to go out.

I was thinking of that but did not have a Y around the shop at the time, would like to see pictures of your feeders if you get a chance.

I fixed the link at the bottom of the post above, check it out, move all your drinks away from the keyboard first though. LOL

:D:D That is a good setup,... That stupid coon kept getting back on it, i believe the coon like it:D

I'll take a picture tomorrow..__I don't have no problems with them, but the squirrels stay at the feeders a lot.

I put peanut butter on the Y on the feeder too.

Well i said i would take a picture today and i was going to check on a big oak tree too that fell, but it has been raining since this morning.

I have to ride a ATV to get there, ...will try tomorrow.

No hurry on the photo, when ever it clears up will be fine. It would take me three hours one way to get to my feeders. I hope to make the deal on a new MF 1532 tomarrow and hope to have it this weekend to play with.

Looks good, the screen wire should drain the water just fine with that setup.
I plan on feeding some of this when I can get some: Antler-X Fact Sheet1
This is why I am trying to keep all the rain off of it per their instructions.
But after getting the new tractor they may just have to settle for good old corn. :D
