I doubt it. Credit card companies will initiate subrogation against him as well. There will be a ton of legal wrangling and probably take years to settle and I have to presume he was incorporated (like we are) but, if the court finds he violated the Tennent's of incorporation in his state, they will come after him personally. I sure am glad the grapple I just bought came from ATI but then I like ATI implements anyway.I wonder if the credit card companies will be losing money on this too?
Normally, when a cc company refunds a customer, they take the funds out of the vendor's merchant account.
In this case, if there is no money in the vendor's account, the credit card company will be stuck trying to collect from the vendor.
I experienced this a few years ago, when someone hacked my QuickBooks account and started charging customers. When the customer disputed the charges, QuickBooks attempted to take the money out of my account.
I really hate to see anyone or company go **** up no matter where or who it is.
