Status of Everything Attachments

It is amazing to me how so many people, who have never met a person, think they know them and everything about them. I understand those who have money tied up. In my book, anyone piling on with no personal stake or knowledge of the situation is just as bad as however bad they think Ted might be.

Running a rapidly expanding business is hard. Having the fate of your business tied up with a contractor who failed to deliver as promised, a potentially messy divorce and God knows what other issues that have come up, makes it even harder.

Many business owners have historically had trouble separating their personal and business. It used to be pretty common for small business owners to have their employees help out with some of their personal work. Not saying it is a good thing to do, but it is not an uncommon thing. My understanding is EA was not a Corp, but an LLC. This can blur the line between the personal and the business, too.

These guys made an AG product that probably had fewer complaints than almost anyone. (The equipment, not shipping or payment). We all suffer if they don't find a way back (with or without Ted).

How is it, "We all suffer if they don't find a way back (with or without Ted)."?

Bit of an overstatement isn't it? I can not imagine how I will suffer from this situation.

What an interesting dichotomy in this thread, of EA defenders vs bashers. I hope I'm not perceived in either camp.

I don't own an EA product, nor would I ever bought one with the terms that they demanded for a purchase. I've been bitten by that snake before so never again. I don't know Ted nor do I have any desire to know him. Personally I think anyone that does what he has knowingly done is a thief, plain and simple and I despise thieves. I could care less about his personal life or if he lives in the Taj Mahal, that's his business. But I do think those things are very telling about Ted. I'm not a basher, I could really care less. I'm certainly not a supporter. I'm a realist that really hates what has happened to the former employees of EA and the individuals that have outstanding orders and even more so the individuals that have purchased something since Ted has taken the money and bolted. I hope everyone has learned something from this but I fear there are those that would jump right back into this trap given the first chance.

Siding with Ted and what he did is your prerogative but if you do side with him it shows your true colors. Some apparently think speaking the plain truth is bashing. Knowingly taking money up front for materials he knew he couldn't supply is thievery. There is no other word for it. Even using the "reasonable person" criteria, there is no way that Ted didn't know or shouldn't have known that full price online sales should have been curtailed months ago.

For someone who has made zero investment in any of this having neither bought or ordered anything from EA you sure do have a lot to say about it.

What is your definition of "siding with Ted"? I want EA to get through this so is that siding with Ted? I've had nothing but a good experience with EA having spent close to $10k with them, and until the facts are clear I refuse to have a bad opinion of him or the company.

I suspect but a guess on my part that he can’t move into his new building because he hasn’t been paying the contractor. It can’t be occupied because it’s not quite finished, so then the finger pointing starts.

Very little of what’s in this thread is fact. Drugs, divorce, some of that’s fact but does it have anything to do with the business or are people guessing. It’s to the point this thread is running in circles.
