Just go to your friendly Land Pride dealer and by the products from them, problem solved before it becomes a problem. Pay when you get the product, great quality and a warranty!
Great quality, and warranty  :ROFLMAO:

Kind of sorta off topic, but can be bent enough to be ON topic.

I contacted another supplier about a grapple they provide. Guess what? ETA to me is 4 to 6 weeks. And they require payment UP FRONT.

So apparently EA was not unique with their method of doing business.

Would that just be throwing good money after bad? My "trust quotient" is sort of at a low ebb right now.
4 to six weeks is a lot different than 4 to 6 MONTHS. If you haven't received shipment notification by the seventh week, there is still 5 weeks in which to call your credit card company and get a refund, it's actually a pretty safe time frame using a credit card.
I've seen some on other sites complain that their credit card company won't do a refund on their EA purchase because too much time has elapsed. The same would be true for one who used a debit card.

I've bought several attachments in the last couple years, but not from EA. Seems like they have quite a fanboy following on here, something I didn't care for at all. Where I bought was local enough where I could knock on their door if need be. 20yrs ago I remember buying some things online that ended up not shipping. I called, and a message said to send an email. I sent an email, and the reply was to call. Pfft. I drove to their door an hour away and got what I needed. And was informed that they were under investigation, not shipping, but still taking orders, and that most people were just charging back on their credit cards. What a racket. Go figure. Those in the "biz" know how to fix the system, things that us commoners would find repulsive enough to endlessly question and never do.

long thread but read it all. I have not purchased from EA but looked lots at their stuff. Living on the west coast shipping is my concern. I hope things get worked out as this company has lots of happy buyers and we all need good suppliers to prosper.

I am rather picky about what I want in a grapple. I want TEETH on those tines to grip the material being held. But yeah, the 4 to 6 week shipping time might be doable. I will just mark the date when 6 weeks is up, and let the seller know that if I do not have a shipping tracking number by that time then I will be disputing the payment. What I will do is to place the order on the day that the new monthly cycle begins on my credit card. That may even give me enough time to where I don't have to make payment until after that 6 week "drop dead" date has arrived. I always pay my credit card bills in full upon receipt. I am not paying that outrageous interest rate they charge.

Oh, and yeah, this is off topic, but maybe a warning shot some will want to take note of. One of the places I went to in order to look for another source for a grapple was the following:

Please note that EVERY item on that page states "Temporarily Out of Stock". I almost bought one of those tractors, but some things about it just didn't set well with me. So I passed on it. Maybe good thing I did....... I notice that Home Depot is no longer offering their product.

Anyway, maybe EA isn't the only one having troubles right now and we all need to keep our ears to the ground and take extra precautionary steps to protect ourselves. IMHO, anyway.

Sounds like you make be one of those who never learns. If you don't get your grapple at end of 6 weeks are you coming back here to piz and moan about it?

At least they marked them out of stock instead of taking the order and then notifying the buyer of an indeterminate shipping delay.

I think you will satisfied with the Homestead. My experience with them was very good.
I placed my order on February 7th 2022
I received shipping notification on March 11, 2022
I received the landplane on or about March 20th 2022
New York to Washington state.
At the time I ordered their site said 6 to 8 weeks so I was surprised by the early arrival.
Good luck.

Just to give you something to "piz and moan" about, I just might regardless of the outcome. After all, what else would you have to do with your time?

The days of COD are long gone. Where have you been?

Typically, a seller will run a $1 hold on a CC. That's to make sure the card is valid. I don't think they can charge the full amount to your card until it's shipped. At least that's how it's been working for my shipped purchases. Even Amazon does it that way for large purchases from suppliers.

I have 2 EA and a bunch of LandPride attachments. So far both have been great. From now on its LP only for me, simply because I want to make sure the company is in business in 5 years. The fact that EA folded is surprising...they had good products. Obviously mismanaged.

If a place like Everything Attachments is large enough, then lose one company and it could also have ripple effects across the entire industry.

Like many of us I buy a fair amount of stuff online. No Amazon Prime.

A week or so for delivery isn't unexpected. I just decided to order a new chainsaw factory direct in the wee hours of the morning yesterday. By noon the same day the order was processed, and it is moving towards me today. The plan is to actually use the chainsaw the day it arrives, not next July. 2

There are very few items that I would not expect to at least be shipped within 7 days.
