starting from scratch

Good afternoon

This is our first visit to the forums. It is so nice of all of you to help one another with tractor life. We picked up our first tractor yesterday.
Of course it is not running. That is okay. We think it will. However we have NO information to work with! We wanted to start by getting an owner's manual. Right now we can't find any Id plate , model number , serial number on the TC 29.
We think that would be the place to start. We don't know where each of the handles should be while starting ( even the the labels are faded). We may simply have a safety switch activated.
Where can we best find basic information about operation of our first real tractor?

Then google new holland TC29 manual - there's one that'll come up called "tradebits" - looks like it might be free, but it will take a bit of "drilling down" thru their menus (you'll find tractors under vehicles category)
