Starter wiring trouble.

The owner's manual say's it is positive ground.
The shop manual say's it is positive ground.
OP say's it's positive ground.
Jax say's it's positive ground.
Why are you saying it's negative ground after all that?:confused3:

WHO are you replying to?. if Me, I never said it was negative ground, it may be positive ground made for the UK, as that is what they like, the U.S. uses negative ground.. and to use a tractor with positive ground in the U.S. is looking for electrical trouble. all accessories made for the U.S. use negative ground, and if someone is not familiar with the tractor, they could wind up jump starting the batteries reverse polarity..

unless it was made for the UK, they like positive ground for some reason!..

Mine was an auction import from Europe.
But the US service manual said they are all neg ground.
