I stand by my statement. DSL is multiplexed to work on voice lines whether or not they currently have voice traffic. Since most of us do not use landlines for conversations 24 hours a day, those lines and mostly unused. The second pair of bonded DSL is unused for voice.

Not always true either. We have plenty of Business Customer's with more than 1 phone line where the 1st pair and the bonded pair both carry voice traffic

Haven't seen any beta testers on TBN yet. However, the public beta test will be expanding southward in USA during the Jan/Feb 2021 time frame so more TBN members should be chosen as testers. Until then lots of opinions/facts/questions re Starlink can be found at: Starlink - SpaceX Satellite Internet Constellation My opinion based on that forum is that most beta testers are very impressed with Starlink's speed and Winter weather performance.
