There is a video running around here comparing several brands, Stanadyne being one I believe. It's highly regarded. I have no personal experience.

Depending on what part of Alaska you are in I'd say you could put it to the test!!!

There is/was an injection pump builder in Anchorage who told me if I ever used power service again in my diesels, he would NOT warr. his rebuilds! NO exceptions!

He only sold Stanadyne and he sold it discounted so guys would use it.

Had injectors and pump rebuilt about 3 years ago at a large diesel shop in TN. They prescribed Stanadyne Performance Formula. Since I just bought a couple jugs or Power Service I asked if that will work. He didn't say anything about warranty but did say that PS is a fuel dryer and the SPF is a lubricator, which is what is needed with todays fuel. Made sense to me so use it in 3 diesels. He also said to change fuel filters every other oil change?

I have wondered if Bobcat's All-tier additive is made by Stanadyne. :confused3:

My pump rebuilder told me he would only warranty the rebuild if I used Delphi fuel filter. He just happened to sell them and fixed me up.
