Tired of fighting my sticking turnbuckles, so I am looking for a set of replacement stabilizers for my L2900. Thought I would check out the Kubota L8430 kit, which is supposed to fit the L-series.
Did not see the L2900 listed on the dozen or so L-series models on the Messick page, so I sent a note. It apparently works for the L2800 and the L3000...but a rep there said it would not for some reason, fit the model sandwiched between those two in the L-series lineup.
Since I am a dogged cuss, I contacted Mark Hodges from Stabilworks, and he replied quote - here is no reason, that I know of, that significantly differentiates the stabilizer set up between an L2800 and an L2900. I've built the same set of stabilizers for both- actually, all of the L series, other than the L2000, take the same set- with no issues. He said there was a very slight difference in the mounting points on the stabilizers - not enough to affect the installation.
Can anyone confirm or refute this?
