SSQA Ice Scraper?

This ice storm we're getting has me looking for alternatives to spreading anti skid. I came across this implement I had never seen before. Has anyone tried this SSQA ice scraper from Titan on a tractor FEL? It appears to swing side to side hydraulically using a 3rd function valve. It's an interesting idea, but is it really practical for large areas?
I don't see how the teeth on top of the frame are used. I'd like to see a video of one in action.

I would be concerned with what you might hit with it during operation. Same issue with plowing snow but now with a spinning metal blade.

Looks like the teeth on top are merely a step for the operator.
For our ice pack, I pulled the aerator out and ran it up and down the drive. Thought about using a grapple but had it all tore up before I thought of it.

I don't see how the blade could spin on it's own. I think it swivels as it's being dragged or pushed.

Looks like a good way to tear up a lot of paved surface. Also looks like a sure-fire way to put a LOT of pressure on a front-end-loader. Might be best used on a skid-loader but if used with down pressure, I think you're asking for trouble.

I'd recommend putting your money into a good set of euro-style tire chains with cleats for dealing with ice. I've studded my tires and resign myself to wait for spring for the ice to melt. Trying to lift or break the ice on a driveway is a losing battle. I can wear my ice-skates right now to go between the house and barn. We have a warm up coming in the forecast hopefully the driveway ice will be gone by the end of next week.
