Squealer SQ480 rotary cutter with a bx22

Has anyone tried using a Bush Hog SQ480 Rotary cutter along with a BX22? This is only a 4'' cutter, but exceeds the Max weight that Kubota recommends for the bx22. I believe that it weighs 440Lbs. If anyone has used this combo or other similar 4" cutters with the bx22 I would like to hear your results or problems.

I'm curious. What is the 3PH lift capacity on the BX22?

By the way, for comparison, the SQ420 weighs 356 pounds compared to the SQ480's 440 pounds

I use a Rhino SE-4 on my BX2200 without a problem. The SE-4 weighs 435 lbs. The hitch pins need to face inward, because the BX links don't have enough spread. This is pretty common when using implements on the subcompacts.

Gsganzer (who is a customer of one of our stores) answered this question before I could. I have mentioned before about being "creative" when mounting some implements on the sub compact tractors and this is one of those instances. Actually, the pins on the SQ series are easier to relocate due to the way the mast in constructed.
