square tubing bender questions

I am looking to build a cab for my Kubota B2920. I plan to use square tubing either 1" or 3/4" square. What is a good affordable bender to buy for this project so I can shape the tubing to fit the contours of the tractor? I want something that will work for the job, but not necessarily "PRO" quality as I will probably only us it occasionaly after this project is done. Thanks for any advice or experience you can give me.

Jd square makes a nice selection of benders , you could look into them. I've got one of there hydraulic models that's been great. I've used the manual ones also and they work really good also.

This is there entry level bender that's pretty low cost.

I just angled the tube around the fenders. It worked pretty well. 3 pieces made the curve around the fender. Every thing else was straight.

I would go and check out Northern Tool's tube benders ,they,ve got some at pretty good prices.

If you need to bend tubing in several different radius, this may not work, unless you build several dies. http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/...highlight=bending+square+tubing,+trailer+bows

If you have no other need for a bender, it's something to consider.

Btw, when I started my biggest question was how to attach the cab to the tractor.

Some good ideas here. I will look at the pictures latter when "HopeFully" my internet is back to running high speed. Right now it is as bad or worse than dial-up.
