Springtime

I wish it was spring. We got hit with about 4" of snow on monday followed by highs only in the high 30's and low 40's and lows in the teens.

It was more like Spring around here in January and February. It has been lousy since the beginning of March. We have had snow showers each of the last three days!

I'm looking for 80-85°F

Hey Randy, nice to hear from you again! Ya, we're taking the "hot oil" on the road to California for a few day! Could be the "make it or break it" for us! Historically that is very true....however....the last couple of years we've had early springs after light winters. You can get used to that quickly. Although as I pointed out earlier we are very HAPPY to get the extra moisture. tgello, it's spelled "crappie", but pronounced "croppie" and in Louisiana it's a sac-a-lait (not too sure of the spelling, but maybe someone else will correct it) and in some parts of the country it's a white perch. Some of the best eating you'll find./w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif

Randy, I may be wrong, but I thought they called them white perch, and that what they call white bass is what we usually call a sand bass.

Incidentally, the largemouth bass I caught today was too small to be legal to keep, but those 3 crappie are gonna make a mighty fine meal./w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif
