Springtime in Alberta??

Well it looks like we're going to have the second worst 3 or 4 day string of April weather on record. Only 1954 was worse. Highs of below zero (Celsius) and snow.

Hey Egon,

Ya, I bet Banff and Jasper will be hopping with spring skiers trying to take advantage of the fresh powder.

I don't remember the May snow storm you're talking about, but I know we've had snow in every month of the year but. Either July or August, but I can't remember which one. Never can tell when we'll get a dump!!!

My daughter lives in Whitecourt and I routinely look at the highway cameras and noticed that there was hardly any snow on the ground in the southern half (south of Edmonton and below) of the province all winter. This must be make up time.

Kevin; the May storm was around 1987 or so.

June is the only month I haven't seen snow in Alberta and that is because I spent little time in the mountains in June.
